Description
NISYS has been developing prototypes in the field of driver assistance systems for more than 20 years. Prototypes for future assistance systems are designed and implemented on near-series hardware for validation purposes. The focus is on investigations of new sensors and sensor configurations as well as evaluations of sensor data with state-of-the-art methods such as Deep Learning.Â
In addition, NISYS supports OEMs and TIER 1 in the automated validation of ADAS series projects with its own software tools.
Role and Key Contribution to the Project
In the project, NISYS is responsible for the transfer of information between internal and external data processing components. Optimal data and communication structures as well as the lowest possible latency times for data transmission are essential for prototype development in the HEIDI cooperative system. Distributed data processing and standardized structures will allow assistance systems to be designed much more efficiently and flexibly in the future, even in the development phase.
