The goal was to discuss the interaction between drivers, vehicles, and road users for safe and efficient mobility in complex environments. With few but carefully selected participants, lively discussions among all identified challenges and opportunities, formulated expectations, and developed common visions.
The program featured four keynote speakers who discussed issues with current vehicle interfaces, applications of fluid design principles, and standardization requirements.
The symposium included various workshops, presentations, and discussions to stimulate interactions and raise innovative ideas. It aimed to bring together different players to discuss important human-machine interaction issues.
This Symposium was organized in the course of the HEIDI project.
